Return Policy
Anvil Arms’ General Return Policy: Please read the following instructions very carefully to insure prompt service!

We apologize in advance if the below policies seem harsh, restrictive or otherwise less than friendly. They are not meant to be any of those things. They are only meant to help us to stay in business so that we may be here next week, next month and next year to serve your needs.

We have scanned dozens of other professional companies websites and read their return policies. We feel that ours is right in line with the vast majority of them, no better, no worse. You will find some with more “consumer favorable” policies, we found that most of those are with companies that charge much more that we do for the same products. You will also find some with far worse, more restrictive policies.

We want to be fair and we have tried our best to look at this issue from both the view we have as consumers when dealing with other companies that we personally deal with and as a business with a lot of overhead, bills and inventory to maintain. We feel that the below policies are a reasonable compromise to both.

Please feel free to ask as many pre-purchase questions as you like. Our staff is pretty knowledgeable about our products and will be happy to do our best to assist you in making the correct purchases the first time so that returns and exchanges should not be needed.

All returns for exchanges and/or refunds must occur within 20 days of receipt of merchandise. After 20 days, this policy becomes null and void.

We at Anvil Arms want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. We have only factory fresh, brand new, top quality products from top quality vendors and suppliers. If there is a problem or defect with the product we will do whatever we can to make it right for you! Even if you find that you have ordered the wrong item or have simply changed your mind we still want you happy. However, since we sell only factory fresh, brand new, top quality products we will not be able to resell your product at full price and since there is no factory defect we can not send it back for credit.

If the returned item is in 100% factory new condition, with ALL paperwork and ALL factory packaging we will be pleased to offer a full refund minus a very reasonable 5% restocking fee. See below for more details. If the product is not defective but is missing packaging or paperwork we will have to charge a 25% restocking fee, again, please see below for more details.

We apologize for having to enforce this policy but we sell very high quality expensive products at a very low price. When we get merchandise back we frequently end up selling it at or below our cost. You want it brand new and if it is not you want it heavily discounted, so does the next guy. Our products are superior, our prices some of the lowest available, our profit margins are narrow and we simply are not able to absorb the loss when we must discount what is basically new but now used merchandise.

Returns may take up to three weeks to be processed through our Returns Department. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping charges.

ALL returns require a require a return authorization number and a return authorization form. Contact Anvil Arms for this number. Any item returned without this number clearly displayed on the outside of the box will be returned unopened.

Undeliverable Addresses:
We will address all packages exactly as per the information you give us on the return authorization form. If for any reason the shipper is unable to deliver to that address and the package is returned to Anvil Arms LLC we will contact you via the information you gave us on your return authorization form. If we have to reship to a different address you will charged the second shipping fee for all packages returned to us due to an undeliverable address that you provided to us.

OUR RETURNS DEPARTMENT INSPECTS EACH AND EVERY PRODUCT THAT HAS BEEN RETURNED. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE REFUNDS AND/OR EXCHANGES OF ANY AND ALL RETURNED ITEMS IF ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING HAS OCCURRED:

Obvious Wear & Tear such as scratches or dents on any merchandise; tears and holes in garments; scratches on sunglass and/or goggle lenses. Any and all size adjustments such as links removed from watch bands; garments that have been laundered, tailored and/or altered, etc. Dirt, sand, sun and/or water damage, antiperspirant stains, makeup, etc. Obvious odors such as cigarette smoke, perfume or colognes, etc. Protective Packaging or original packaging that has been defaced in any manner, or is absent upon return. Related warranty paperwork, inserts, attached coupons and/or instructions pamphlets are absent. Due to Health Code Violations, boxer briefs and/or socks are not eligible for return. Certain products containing liquid material such as pepper sprays, gun lubricants and cleaning products are not eligible for return.

EXCHANGES:
Please include a check or cash in the amount of $10.00 for return shipping and handling. Exchanges will NOT be processed if the return shipping fee is not included. If the exchange includes multiple items (two items or more), please include an additional $3.00 per additional item to your shipping fee.

REFUNDS:
A refund will be remitted to you via your credit card account or via company check (pending the method you initially used for payment) for the merchandise amount minus the ACTUAL original shipping and handling fees. (We charge a flat rate for shipping, it is very probable that your actual charges were higher and that we paid the difference.) If you paid by credit card we were charged a 3% fee by the card company to process the transaction. When we make a refund for a sale that was done on a credit card that 3% WILL BE DEDUCTED from the refund amount you are to receive.

If you had received FREE SHIPPING on your original order, you will be refunded the merchandise amount minus our actual shipping/handling costs. A refund confirmation email will be sent to you.

Free promotional merchandise associated with your purchase must be included with your return, or we reserve the right to charge your credit card account for the full retail price of the promotional item. All promotional items must be returned in original, brand-new condition as stated above.

DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE 1:
For products other than firearms or major firearm components; If you are in receipt of an item that is defective, the item must be returned to us within 20 days of the buyer's receipt of defective merchandise. We DO NOT issue Call Tags. Once the item has been received and is, in fact, deemed defective by our Returns Department, a new item will immediately be shipped out to you. You will not be charged a reshipment fee.

If the item is determined to be NOT defective, you will be notified of this and you will be billed for the return shipping. This is one reason we strongly recommend you contact us PRIOR to returning any item so that we may prevent this from happening!

DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE 2:

PLEASE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING WITH ALL RETURNED ITEMS:
The Anvil Arms return authorization form. The merchandise in its original, brand-new condition with all related paperwork and packaging. A copy of your order invoice. A short but precise note listing the reason(s) for the return and/or exchange and your contact information.

For your protection, we recommend using a reputable carrier to ship and insure your package. We are not responsible in any manner for lost or damaged merchandise that has been shipped to us. Please retain your shipping receipt. PLEASE SEND ALL RETURNS TO:

Anvil Arms LLC reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 25% of the retail value of the returned merchandise. All returned items sent back in obvious used and/or damaged condition will be rejected and sent back to the buyer. You will be notified of this and you will be billed for the return shipping. This is one reason we strongly recommend you contact us PRIOR to returning any item so that we may prevent this from happening! If customers reject their return Anvil Arms LLC reserves the right to liquidate the inventory and withhold credit.

Class III, NFA, and Title II Refunds

Due to the highly sensitive nature of these items and the fact that the BATF must be involved in all transfers between factories and dealers, between dealers and other dealers and dealers and the final client these sales can take a very long time, frequent unplanned delays and frequent out of stock issues occur. Anvil Arms is one of the best companies there is at pursuing your purchase and acting as your advocate, but you have to understand there is nothing we can do when a manufacturer tells us they have parts but do not ship them in a timely fashion, or when a manufacturer can not get parts resulting in delays. Also, we must normally prepay for these items at the time of ordering. Lastly, in light of the fact that we have no idea if you have a prohibitive background if you are denied your transfer by the ATF or request a refund for any reasons that are beyond the control of Anvil Arms there will be a 25% restocking fee. The 3% credit card fee would also apply as appropriate.

NOTE: All refunds will take up to 45 days to process.

All sales are final on Close-out and Blow-out merchandise. These items are not eligible for return and/or exchange unless there is a manufacturing defect that was not disclosed to the purchaser prior to initial purchase.
