Our Standard Rear Sling has been a standard in the industry for ten years, we sell thousands of them, along with our Rear Sling Thing QD and The Rear Sling For Quick Clips. The problem is they don’t fit the combat tested LMT SOPMOD Stock. We felt it was time to fix that.
A small inexpensive CNC machined solid polymer adapter plate now mates the stock and any of our Rear Sling Things together. As can be seen in the photographs the GG&G Rear Sling Thing LMT SOPMOD Stock Adapter Plate and the GG&G Rear Sling Thing fit the (contour) of the stock and it installs in just minutes. No additional screws are required, the screws normally included with our Rear Sling Thing kits are long enough to accommodate the adapter plate.
